How does Patientfriends campaign to improve
healthcare?
Patientfriends is a support group, whose aim is to supports each
other and members of the public who are being served by the NHS.
Patientfriends is also interested in campaigning for improvements in
specific areas. Other than the general principle of encouraging more
accountability between the general public and the NHS and giving
patients more of a voice and improving general standards of care.
The actual issues Patientfriends will campaign about will depend on
the actual issues that concern people the most. And to find out what
is important to people is going to involve asking them.
Patientfriends is going to campaign about the things that concern
people were most.
Patientfriends will campaign by finding out who is responsible for
particular areas of patient care.
Raising the profile of these issues by publicising them in our local
communities and through the local media.
Publicising Patientfriends to encourage people to give their
feedback and express what they have liked or not liked about their
NHS experiences.
All campaigning will be done in a polite and peaceful manner with
the focus on problem solving and being helpful.
Patientfriends is also interested in helping medical practitioners
get the resources they need, by raising the discussion about what
sort of healthcare we all want.
